It's official. Joss Whedon has pulled the plug on the Firefly franchise. This is truly a sad day for mankind. This was one of those truly great shows that was screwed by nothing more than the human condition. It catered to such a broad array among many different demographics and I honestly can't think of a single person who wouldn't like it. Unfortunately, the movie didn't make enough money to rekindle the franchise. Sad days. :(

One of the best scifi shows ever. I'm sad to see it go but at least it's one of the few shows that you can completely get on DVD and not have to worry about collecting 15 seasons.
